Ribbonwood wines are made by Andrew Headley, an Englishman with a PhD in Applied Chemistry. He moved to New Zealand in 1993, and began pursuing his passion for winemaking five years later. The fruit for this bottling is sourced from a selection of five Wairau Valley (90%) and one Waihopai Valley (10%) vineyards. This white has all the characteristics you'd expect from Marlborough sauvignon blanc: powerful aromatics, fresh acidity, and juicy, zingy ripe citrus and herbal flavors.
