Versatile and delectable, rosé should really be considered a year-round staple, but there's still something extra special about that first al fresco glass of the season! This is one of our favorites, and has developed quite a following! The estate (formerly known as Domaine Sainte Lucie) was founded in 1979 by Michel Fabre, and at that time consisted of eight hectares at the foot of Mount Sainte Victoire. Now run by his daughter, Virginie Fabre, and son-in-law, Guillaume Philip, the winery has since been expanded and developed to its present 45 hectares, farmed sustainably (the vineyards are leased to a shepherd in the fall whose sheep do their magic in helping revitalize the soil). A blend of cinsault, syrah and grenache, the color on this rosé is pale rose-petal pink, almost translucent. One whiff, and you'll realize that the subtle color doesn't translate to flavor, as this abounds with elements of white flowers, crushed herbs, bright citrus peel, delicate raspberries, and stony minerals... a perennial favorite, this will be one of the rosés you'll turn to again and again for every occasion! Sustainably grown.
