Availability: In stock (22)

Domaine Dyckerhoff is located in the small town of Reuilly in the central Loire Valley of France, roughly an hour drive away from Sancerre to the east. Reuilly’s limestone and clay soil makes for a terroir suitable for the vine in a region dominated by grain farming. The allowed varieties of Reuilly are Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris, which is only allowed for rosé. Their name sounds Germanic because it is; the family emigrated to France in the early 1960’s. Today, Christian and Benedictine Dyckerhoff have been making wine since 2004 with fantastic results. Their rouge is 100% pinot noir and is light and fresh but with deeper red fruit notes, focused tannin, and a hint of licorice and spice.
